How I Grew My Audience Fast

Back when I had fewer than 1,000 Instagram followers, one of my Reels about the Seoul Drone Show schedule hit 340,000+ views, and my follower count took off.

Blog and Instagram content work differently, so I approach them with different strategies. For Instagram, I focus on three key factors:

All my top-performing videos share these traits:

• They provide clear, helpful info that people are searching for.
• They offer rare insights or lesser-known tips that aren't easily found elsewhere.
• And they're easy to follow and widely appealing, making them accessible for a broad audience.

I treat my blog and Instagram as two separate channels, each with its own purpose.

My Naver blog works best when I go in-depth with detailed personal experiences and lots of visuals. On Instagram, where I'm limited in terms of photos and video length, the goal is to grab attention fast and hold it with content that's short, sharp, and shareable.

On top of that, I categorize my blog into three types:

• Monetized blog
• Sponsored blog
• Influencer-style blog

Defining your blog's identity helps you stay focused—and yes, it can absolutely become a way to eat, play, sleep, and earn just by blogging.

I'm still growing, but thanks to my SNS platforms, I've already had opportunities like getting paid to post, enjoying sponsored omakase meals, and even free stays at private villas.

My goal is to become an official travel influencer on Naver and grow a content style that's 100% me. I want to turn my blog into a full-fledged income-generating platform, and build a strong personal brand that allows me to make money, enjoy life, and do what I love—all through my SNS channels.
